  • Format: 9 digits, typically in the format DDMMYY-XXX.
  • Structure:
    • First 6 digits: Date of birth (day, month, year).
    • Last 3 digits: Unique identifier.​

Identification Number (Non-resident Individuals)

  • Format: Similar to the P-tal but with variations to distinguish non-residents.​
  • Format: 6-digit number.​
  • Structure: Sequentially assigned unique identifier.

Registration Process

Individuals

  1. Residents:
    • Automatic issuance of P-tal upon birth or residency registration.
  2. Non-residents:
    • Apply for an Identification Number through TAKS.​
